Effective interviewing involves preparation and practice. Being knowledgeable on the company and position you are applying for will show the interviewee your strong interest in the position.

    Research the Company

  1. Prepare for the interview by researching the company, things like what they do, recent news and financial statements.
  2. Prepare Questions

  3. Prepare questions to ask the interviewee about the company and the work environment.
  4. Bring Resumes

  5. Bring three extra resumes to share with the interviewee if necessary.
  6. Conversational

  7. Keep a conversational and personable tone.
  8. Take Notes

  9. Take a notepad and pen to write down notes for reference later.
