Dealing with Cephalexin side effects

When a dog has a bacterial infection, a veterinarian often prescribes Cephalexin (Keflex) as an antibiotic. Cephalexin is used to treat urinary tract or respiratory infections. Bone and joint infections often respond well to this drug. Cephalexin is usually given as capsules, tablets or liquid medication. This medication sometimes has side effects that should be reported to the veterinarian.
