Types of Bullying
People use different types of bullying as ways to control the actions of others. The methods are designed to intimidate, embarrass and physically or mentally harm another person. Bullies often find pleasure as their victim suffers from their repeated attacks. Even after the bullying stops, victims may be left with the scars of their torture.

Pressure bullying occurs when a stressful situation causes usually calm people to lose their temper and shout and swear at people around them.
Physical Bullying

This is one of types of bullying in which people are victims of physical attacks by another person. The physical attacks could be pushing or shoving or escalate to punching, hitting or kicking.

Verbal Bullying

Verbal bullying occurs when victims are subjected to repeated taunts, name calling, insults and intimidation. The purpose of this type of bullying is breaking down the self-esteem of the victim.
Cyber Bullying

Cyber bullying involves the misuse of technology, such as cell phones and the Internet, to send cruel emails or post vicious comments to or about victims. Cyber bullies often spread embarrassing information about their victims for others to see.
Hazing

Hazing is a form of bullying commonly used to initiate people as members of select groups. Victims of this type of bullying perform degrading or embarrassing acts in front of others to be accepted by the group. Hazing causes emotional and physical scars on some recipients.
