Studying online also has earned more converts because of technological advances and broader Internet offerings from traditional brick and mortar colleges. This increasingly appealing path to a college degree creates new options for learners of all styles and interests.

    Online Classes Offer Flexibility

  1. Online classes allow students to make schedules that meet their individual needs. Studying at times best suited to the learner's energy levels and work/life schedules increases program success rates.

  3. If students travel alone by car to class, online classes can significantly reduce carbon footprints.
  4. Online Classes Provide Greater Access

  5. Studying online gives students access to programs that are around the corner as well as around the world. More choice means more opportunities to have a learning experience that advances the learner's career plans.

  7. Much of the camraderie enjoyed in a traditional college setting is absent from online learning. Although there are blogs and discussions there is no face to face interaction or hanging out after class.
