What Is the Job Description of a Music Director?
While the soloists and actors usually receive the most attention in any play or musical, it is often the hard work of the music director that makes the production successful. Many people may be aware of the basic function of the music director is to conduct the ensemble, but you may not be aware of all of the behind-the-scenes work that the director must do in order to ensure that any show runs smoothly.
