Symptoms of Scabies in Puppies

Scabies is caused by microscopic mites that burrow into the puppy's skin and lay eggs. These mites are highly contagious, and can be passed to humans. Scabies is hard to diagnose, and if it is suspected should be brought to the attention of a vet immediately. The best way to stay clear of scabies is by keeping your animals and environment clean.
