Lots of people dream about a career making movies. It seems like a glamorous industry where dreams come true. The truth is, it is a business just like any other and the work involved is long, extensive and hard. It can all be worth it for the final product--being part of a great movie.     • There are two categories of film positions; above the line and below the line. Above the line includes actors, directors, writers and producers. Below the line jobs are everything else related to the production of a film.
