Facts on 1900 to 1930 Ford Cars
The Ford Motor Company produced passenger cars and trucks with its primary line the Model T and its successor, the Model A, which featured design innovations and a low price. Thousands of Model Ts were converted into pickup trucks by their owners by having the T's rear body cut into a cargo bed. The conversions prompted Ford to produce trucks begining in 1925.

Ford was founded in 1903 by Henry Ford in Detroit with another office placed in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He began producing the Model T in 1908 and perfected the assembly line, leading to the mass-production of the automobile. In 1928, at the behest of his son, Edsel, Ford redesigned the venerable Model T with the Model A.
