The decision to enter or leave the military is a serious one and should be made with you and your family in mind. If you are considering separating and you have been in for less than 20 years, be aware of the benefits you will lose.

Once you separate from the military, you will no longer have access to military bases, including the commissary, gym and any other amenities.
Military Discounts

Many companies offer 10 to 20 percent discounts for active military members. Once you separate and no longer possess a military ID card, you will lose these benefits.
