Warranties are standard on any new vehicle. Compare warranties as you would compare accessories and standard features. If you plan to purchase a used vehicle research the warranty provider's quality, costs and coverage. Dealerships provide extended warranties, but the cost may be too high. It's essential to compare coverage and cost before walking into a dealership. Educating yourself on warranties will help you avoid scams and save money. Read over all warranty stipulations to ensure you don't violate any rules that could prohibit costly repair reimbursements.
