- You may develop drug-induced liver damage from taking amoxicillin, with symptoms such as jaundice, nausea or vomiting, dark urine and elevated liver function tests.
- If you are taking oral contraceptives, amoxicillin can reduce their effectiveness, and you could get pregnant.
