The Sony PSP is a portable, handheld device that plays video games, movies and music. Sony and Skype have teamed-up to deliver mobile phone-like functionality for free.

    History

  1. The first public beta version of Skype was introduced in August of 2003. Since its introduction, the service has expanded to provide video phone calls and even money transfers to its hundreds of millions of users. The PSP was introduced by Sony in 2005.
  2. What You Need

  3. To use Skye on the PSP, you'll need at least a PSP 2000 series with updated system software, a headset with headphones, a remote (PSP-S140 series), a Wi-Fi connection and at least 1 GB of free memory.
  4. Features

  5. Skype calls are free to and from other Skype users. You can also call landlines and cell phones for a small fee.
  6. Benefits
