The Rose of Sharon tree is deciduous, meaning it will lose its foliage in the winter.

Watering

Rose of Sharon require ample moisture to grow. While it is relatively drought-tolerant, it should be watered to provide moderately moist soil for the best growing environment. Make sure there is a way to drain out the excess moisture.
