How to Find an Army Recruiter

Whether you live in a rural area or a big city, finding a U.S. Army recruiter is not a difficult process. The Army is always eager to offer capable new recruits the opportunity to succeed in the military. If you're thinking of joining the Army, there are a few different ways to contact a recruiter.

  1. Visit the official Army website to locate a recruiter, chat with a recruiter online or request information (see Resources).
  2. Yellow Pages

  3. Check your local Yellow Pages for "Army Recruiting" or "Recruiting, Armed Forces."
  4. Shopping Malls

  5. Army recruiting offices are sometimes located in shopping malls for easy availability.
  6. Post Offices

  7. Post offices often carry postage-paid postcards from Army recruiters which you can mail in for free, asking a recruiter to contact you.
  8. Schools

  9. High schools and colleges offer Army recruiters the chance to speak with potential recruits on career days. A high school guidance counselor and a college career placement office also can direct you to an Army recruiter.
