About Toyota SUVs
The Toyota 4Runner was the first in a long line of passenger comfort-driven sport utility vehicles (SUV) put out by Japanese carmaker, Toyota. Designed around the frame of a Toyota truck, the 1985 model provided four-wheel drive, comfortable interior seating and a removable cargo area top for open-air cruising. Since then, SUVs have remained a constant popular vehicle in the Toyota lineup.
