Termite swarms occur when winged adults look for new colonies. Subterranean termites swarm when it is warm and during the mornings. Drywood termites swarm at night or after dusk. After swarming, termites will loose their wings and mate. Once mating has taken place, they seek out sites to build colonies. Does this Spark an idea?
