Pansies are often referred to as an annual flower because of their limited lifespan. Pansy flowers range a great deal in color and size, with two notable varieties. Does this Spark an idea?

Growing Pansies
-
Pansies like at least 6 hours of sunlight each day and a moist environment. Slugs are the main enemy of pansies, because of the moist soil they desire. A slug repellent, or a bowl filled with beer nearby, will keep slugs at bay. Pansies grow to nearly 8 inches tall, and require 2 to 3 inches between the plantings, either seed or starter.
Where to Plant
-
Enjoy your pansies in a flower box or planter because of their low-lying height, or edge your garden with their bright, colorful blooms.
