Early Uncommon Signs of Pregnancy
There are times in life when you want to know something sooner rather than later. Pregnancy is one of those times for many women. While you may not know for sure until you see a doctor, there are some early signs of pregnancy that may help you recognize it before even a missed period.

Conception Signs
-
Not all women experience nausea during pregnancy, but many do report ill feelings in their stomachs within a day or two after conception. Feeling ill for part of a day, or for more than one day may be a sign that you have conceived.
Implantation Signs
-
Implantation usually occurs anywhere from 6 to 12 days after conception. Some women experience spotting when the fertilized egg is implanted in the wall of the uterus. The slight bleeding is not harmful, and is one early symptom that may be easily overlooked.

Physical Signs
-
Some women experience physical changes that may be only noticeable if looked for. Veins in the breasts may become darker, nipples may become darker and skin may seem to glow. Some women have these signs even as early as a few days into a pregnancy.
Other Signs
-
One very common sign of early pregnancy is a metallic taste in your mouth. Many women report having this sign as early as the day after conception. The taste is difficult to get rid of, and will return soon after brushing teeth and using mouthwash.
Considerations
-
Having any of these signs is not to be thought of as confirmation of pregnancy, but rather something that may help you recognize pregnancy early on. Many women will have one of more of these signs, and not be pregnant. The only way to be sure is to have a reliable pregnancy test and be evaluated by your doctor.
