- A Mallet putter has a larger head that is weighted. You may benefit from using this putter if your follow through is straight.
- The blade putter is the most common type of putter. The face is balanced, and it is good to use on almost any type of green.
- Belly putters have a longer shaft than conventional putters, but they may help you if you have too much wrist action in your putting. The shaft of the putter rests on your belly, hence the name.
- The long putter may be a good choice for you if you have back issues. Also, due to its length, you most likely will not have to worry about too much wrist action.
- You may wish to utilize a conventional putter if you are confident of your wrist action and are not distracted easily while putting.
