Patchouli is an earthy essential oil that has been used since ancient times. Though patchouli gained popularity in the 1960's, it still remains a favorite of aromatherapists for its therapeutic properties and smoky fragrance.

  1. Physical Healing

    • Use patchouli for physical ailments that require antiseptic, tonic, anti-infectious or antidepressant remedies.

    Emotional Healing

    • Patchouli is an invigorating oil that can encourage reasonable and clear thinking, and stimulate positive behavior.

    Facial Treatment

    • Use patchouli in facial remedies for dry or normal skin by adding 2 drops of pure essential oil to your night cream or moisturizer.

    Hand Treatment

    • Add 1 drop of patchouli oil to your cuticle cream or hand cream to support and help heal weathered hands.

    Skin Conditions

    • Patchouli essential oil can be used in treatments for dandruff, acne and eczema.

    Perfume

    • Patchouli is considered a base note for perfume blends and can be combined with other oils to create rich, earthy aromas.
