Different Types of Classic Cars

Cars can be considered classic for many reasons. It can be their looks, design, performance or even the memories they generate. Car makers worldwide have produced them at one time or another.

  1. U.S.

    • The United States boasts the Ford Model T and the Duesenberg, as well as muscle cars like Mustang, the Camaro, and the Chevrolet Corvette.

    Britain

    • England made luxurious classics like the Rolls Royce and Jaguar. They also made classic everyday sports cars like the MG, Triumph, Aston Martin, and Austin Healey.

    Italian

    • The Italians produced beautiful, classic cars designed to go fast. Examples of these are the Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Alfa Romero.

    Germany

    • German car makers gave the world the classic Volkswagen Beetle. They also showed their extensive engineering skills designing the fast and luxurious classics like BMW, Porsche, and Mercedes.

    France

    • The Renault and Bugatti were originally designed for racing. Peugeot on the other hand had style and reliability in mind.

    Japan

    • Japan has classics from producers Datsun/Nissan and Mazda. These include the 240Z, Mazda Miata and the RX-7.

    In Conclusion

    • The definition of classic is subjective. However, car makers around the globe have given us a lot of models from which to debate the issue.
