The hardwood flooring tools you'll need for installation are circular saw, tape measure, hammer, utility knife, pry bar, caulking gun, putty knife, long-handled floor scraper, drill/driver and straight edge.

Of course, in addition to hardwood flooring tools, you may also need these materials, depending on your method of installation: floor boards and molding, vapor barrier, underlayment, rags, pencil, yard broom, damp sponge, wood floor glue, vacuum cleaner, 1/2-inch wood spacers and leveling compound.
