Post Office Regulations for Packages
Post office regulations for packages are made to protect postal employees. They are also to protect the recipient of the package. Some are to protect the general public from possible health problems or obnoxious odors from spoiled food. Specific package regulations are there to help speed up the package processing times and for the convenience of postal employees.
