Old Car Guide

There is something special about old cars. Perhaps it's the history, or maybe it's a vehicle that will never be made quite the same again. Whatever the reason, people purchase old cars every year either as collector's items or as a way to repair an old "junker" into something valuable.

  1. 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

    • The 1967 Ford Mustang is notorious for its raw power and great American muscle design. The engine offers 360 horsepower.

    1963 Volkswagen Beetle

    • The 1963 Volkswagen Beetle was something of a stable in the 1960s in American culture. A lot of times the vehicle is referred to as a "hippie" ride, and the colorful paint and unique design certainly didn't hurt the comparison.

    1969 Dodge Charger

    • The Dodge Charger of 1969 is another classic American muscle car with plenty of power. The Charger is also highly recognizable by its stint as the General Lee on the "Dukes of Hazzard."

    1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

    • The 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am may not compare in years to the Charger and Mustang, but the sleek look and power puts it in a similar class. At over 25 years in age in 2009, the Trans Am is officially an old car now.

    1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

    • Including 390 horsepower and a 750 double pumper, the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is sheer beauty--beauty if you like a lot of power, that is.
