- Dark eye circles can be the first sign of fatigue and sleep deprivation. Try to take a nap or get 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night.
- Water cleanses the body of impurities. Make sure you are getting the recommended 8 to 10 glasses daily.
- Dab sparingly under your eyes for reduced puffiness and circles. Oil from a bottle or a capsule will work.
- Cucumbers can cool and refresh the under eye skin. Lay down and apply a slice over each eye for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Black, green, white and chamomile teas are recommended over other herbal varieties. Place a used, dry, cold tea bag over the eyes for 10 minutes.
- Dark under eye circles can be a sign of poor nutrition. Quitting smoking and eating more fruits and vegetables can work wonders.
- Some inverted poses such as a shoulder stand and a handstand are said to help treat dark eye circles by increasing blood circulation in the face.
