One factor that plays a significant role in the Earth's future is in our ability to find additional opportunities to use recycling to conserve our natural resources.

From Quick Guide: Eco Friendly Basics

    Environment

  1. Recycling promotes green living by reducing the amount of waste materials buried in landfills. Goods made with recycled materials create less water pollution, and using recycled items as a means to manufacture other items uses less energy.
  2. Wildlife

  3. Harvesting timber from forests and tropical areas damages and destroys natural habitats and canopies. These habitats provide the means for hunting, protection from predators, nesting platforms and areas for wildlife to raise their young.
  4. Natural Resources

  5. By recycling reusable materials, the impact on natural resources, such as water, timber, natural habitats and land, is lessened.
  6. Climate

  7. Global warming is a concern for the environment. By recycling whenever possible, reducing the amount of unhealthy greenhouse gas omissions into the atmosphere is possible.
  8. Benefits

  9. Encouraging recycling programs can lead to more businesses and job opportunities, and fewer landfills. Companies relying on raw materials provided through recycling satisfy the demand for new goods and products, which helps the economy
