The Institute of Career Certification International is the premier service provider in career management certification and training. They offer two distinct programs in this career field: the Career Management Practitioner (CMP) certification or Career Management Fellow (CMF) certification.
CMP

The Career Management Practitioner (CMP) certification is an entry-level certification in the career management field. Applicants are required to have 8 years of work experience, and at least 4 of those years in a career professional field.

The Career Management Fellow (CMF) certification is the most prestigious level of certification training in this career field. Applicants are expected to have 12 years of practical work experience, and at least 6 of those years in a career professional field.
Prerequisite Education

Prior to applying for either the CMP or CMF certifications, the ICC expects an individual to have a Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent, as well as the minimum number of Professional Development Credits (PDCs) in that career field.
Sponsorship is Required

In order to apply for membership into ICC International, you must obtain sponsorship from an ICC International Fellow (CMF). You will have to complete a substantial amount of paperwork to prove that you have the career competency required prior to asking for sponsorship.
