Heart Attack Symptoms
Many individuals who are suffering a heart attack do not recognize the warning signs and wait too long to get help. Heart attacks will usually start off mild or slowly, but sometimes they can be sudden and deadly. Knowing the signs could save your life, or the life of a loved one.

Chest Pain or Discomfort

Pain or discomfort in the center of your chest, sometimes described as pressure or squeezing, is a heart attack warning sign.
Vision Changes

Suddenly having trouble seeing one or both eyes may be a sign of a heart attack. This could be blurred, double, or loss of vision.

Shortness of Breath

Shortness of breath may occur. This symptom of a heart attack will most often become apparent before developing chest discomfort.
Upper Body Discomfort

Pain and discomfort are not limited to the chest and may occur in one or both arms, one or both shoulders, you back, neck, jaw, or teeth.
Other

Other signs of a heart attack may include stomach pain that feels like heartburn, anxiety, lightheadedness, sudden sweating and nausea or vomiting.
