- Symptoms can begin as early as implantation--which is technically 2 to 3 weeks into the pregnancy---and may continue into the second trimester.
- The earliest symptom that some women will experience is implantation bleeding which occurs just days after conception. This light bleeding or spotting does not occur in many pregnancies.
- Sometime between the fourth and seventh week of pregnancy, you may begin to notice the classic symptoms such as morning sickness, breast tenderness, fatigue and increased urination.
- At around the tenth week, pregnancy symptoms will peak. If you have not yet experienced morning sickness at this point, you probably won't.
- Although the early symptoms usually dissipate by the second trimester, you can look forward to new pregnancy symptoms such as a visibly growing abdomen, fetal movement and increased appetite.
