Natural Facial Cleansers

There are many facial cleansers that are more effective than the expensive ones in stores. These skincare products are found in the home and local grocery store. Natural ingredients are rich in vitamins and minerals specific to getting deep into pores to remove dirt and oil without chemicals and preservatives. All recipes below are made with ingredients that contain cleansing capabilities. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Honey

    • Mix 1/2 teaspoon of liquid soap with 1/2 teaspoon of honey. Add water to lather. Apply to face. Rinse clean removing impurities and dead skin cells.

    Lemon Juice and Milk

    • Smooth lemon juice and whole milk onto face. This cleaning agent will give skin a healthy glow.

    Olive Oil

    • Take a small amount of olive oil. Rub it together in palms. Massage into face and wipe away with a warm wash cloth. Follow this by several splashes of cool water.

    Sugar

    • Take pure sugar. Mix it with enough water to make a grainy paste. Rub onto face to cleanse the skin and polish away blackheads.

    Oatmeal and Witch Hazel

    • Oatmeal mixed with witch hazel exfoliates and removes dirt. Rub in circular motions all over face especially places that contain the most oil like the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin).

    Gelatin and White Grape Juice

    • Heat and dissolve 1 package of unflavored gelatin and white grape juice. Allow to cool until it becomes a jelly. Apply to face for 10 minutes and rinse with water to cleanse away dirt and oil.

    Clay

    • Combine 1 tablespoon of clay powder with enough water to make thick. Apply to face for 10 minutes to draw out impurities and give face a deep down clean.
