As of February, 2009, four U.S. army bases conduct basic combat training.

    Fort Jackson

  1. Fort Jackson is in South Carolina. It is the largest army basic combat training base in the United States, training 70% of all incoming women and 50% of all incoming army recruits.
  2. Fort Benning

  3. Fort Benning, located in Georgia, is home of the 192d Infantry Brigade. Their mission is to conduct basic combat training for the U.S. army.
  4. Fort Sill

  5. Fort Sill is in Oklahoma. As the only active U.S. army fort built in the southern plains during the Indian Wars, it has been designated as a historic landmark.
  6. Fort Knox

  7. Fort Knox, near Louisville, Kentucky, is responsible for training all armor soldiers.
  8. Note

  9. Although these four posts are responsible for all United States army basic training, other posts offer specific training, such as officer training, for soldiers who have graduated basic training.

on 8/26/2009 Last I knew a few other bases did Basic as well. Including Ft. Leonardwood, MO.
