About Life Alert Home Response Systems
Life alert provides a system that can help protect you in the case of fire, burglary or medical emergency. It helps provide peace of mind. It allows those at risk for a fall--or living with disabling medical conditions--to live independently in their own homes. Does this Spark an idea?
-
Identification
-
Life alert systems involve devices that can monitor your home and send signals to the office should you need help. There are also devices you can wear that allow you to push a button for assistance.
Help When You Fall
-
Sometimes falls can happen in the middle of a room or outdoors. They can leave the person unable to get up on her own. There can also be added problems such as a broken hip or other body part. Wearing a Life Alert pendant or watch allows the person to push a button and get help without having to get to a phone.
-
Fire and CO2 Protection
-
Life Alert places smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout your house. If smoke or CO is detected, Life Alert will send the appropriate response team to your home, regardless of whether you are home.
Burglary
-
Life Alert will install security systems in your home with cameras and speakers. If you suspect someone has entered your home, the press of a button signals Life Alert to turn on the camera and speakers to help you determine if there is a intruder present. They can then call for help.
9-1-1 Service
-
Life Alert can provide it's members with a special cell phone that will dial 9-1-1 from anywhere in the United States. There is no need to have service through a cell phone company, and you are not charged roaming fees.
