Window Fashion Ideas
Your windows need not be normal and bare. Even when the Christmas lights aren't up or St. Patrick's Day is over, it doesn't mean you can't show a little bit of your personality for a passersby to see. Creativity can show a lot about your political, social and religious views. Does this Spark an idea?

Organizations
-
Celebrate your sorority or fraternity by putting the symbol of it in the windows. For example, if you're a Delta Sigma Theta sorority member, line your window shelf with elephants.
Geography
-
Post a flag in your window to show pride in your country or from the land you were brought up in. You may even choose to post a school or state flag.
-
Politics
-
Encourage others to support the governmental candidates you voted for by posting a picture of them from a newspaper cover or other paraphernalia. This is more common around election time, but some keep them up all year long, even when a candidate has lost.
Literature
-
Bring hidden artists, authors and music to your window seekers' attention. There are no rules that say that your favorite music artist must only be on a wall poster. Don't let anybody tell you that your artwork has to be nailed into a wall. For a truly original spin, put a book on window display. Perhaps line your window with copies of book covers to show which ones you'd recommend.
Marketing
-
Promote your own work in your windows. If you are a window cleaner, you may get more business if people can see your sign in the window. If you're a painter, show a few splashes of color with your business phone number and company name.
Quotes
-
Add quotes to your window in big font so everyone can read them. These quotes could be from your favorite media person or from your mother, but make sure they represent your beliefs. If you're religious, Bible verses work well.
