      Loss of Internet Connection

      • Another common issue that occurs is a loss of network connectivity. If you are using an Ethernet connection, be sure that the network cable is securely plugged in on both ends. If using wireless, make sure your wireless card is turned on and check the wireless router. The problem could also be with your Internet provider, so it is a good idea to call them.

      • An optical mouse must be on a dark, non-reflective, smooth surface to work properly. A trackball mouse can get gummed up with dirt. Open the trackball plate at the bottom, remove the ball and clean the trackball and the rollers inside the mouse with rubbing alcohol.

      • If the speakers are using an external power source, make sure they are plugged in and turned on. Also be sure the speakers are plugged into the proper port. On most computers, this is denoted by a green-colored port.
