Symptoms of Contact Allergies

A contact allergy can show itself with signs of dermatitis, pigment changes in the skin, skin eruptions and are most noticeable around the ears, chin, abdomen and under the tail.

Symptoms of Medical Allergies

Most often signs of a medical allergy include skin eruptions and swelling at the point of intake and are most often caused by penicillin, tetracycline, neomycin and other vaccines.

Symptoms of Food Allergies

The main signs of food allergies include intense scratching, swelling at the mouth, hot spots, vomiting, coated tongue and bad breath.

Symptoms of Flea and Tick Allergies

Signs of allergies occur where your cat was bitten; most often small, red raised bumps and hot spots along with severe itching are the most noticeable symptoms.
