Regardless of whether you are experiencing partial or full hair loss, losing one's hair can be an emotional event. Studies suggest that nearly 50 percent of men are stricken by some sort of hair loss by the time they are age 50. Hair loss can be caused from stress, illness, medical treatments (chemotherapy), poor nutrition, chemical hair treatments such as hair coloring and perming, hair-pulling disorder, hormonal imbalances and genetics.
