- To tweeze your eyebrows uniformly, you need to mark where the beginning and the end of the brows should be. To do this, simply hold a pencil vertically to the side of your nose and mark where it touches your eyebrows. Then hold the pencil to the outside of your eye and mark a direct line up.
- To prevent infections and ingrown hairs, always make sure your tweezers are sharp and clean. Rubbing them with alcohol before using them can help kill germs.
- Eyebrows can be tweezed in different shapes, including fine and thick, natural and high-arched. There is no single best shape for everybody. To avoid plucking too much, it's important to start with a slight pluck and then keep formatting the brows until you see the size and shape you like.
- Avoid overplucking. If you do it often, you may end up with uneven brows, where the hair no longer grows uniformly or consistently.
- Despite popular belief, there is nothing that indicates that eyebrows cannot be plucked on the top side.
