Tiered cakes requires different size ring molds.

Rubber ring molds are made of silicone synthetic rubber. Sizes run from the single cupcake pan to cake pans large enough to bake a wedding cake. They are easy-release because of their flexibility and nonstick surface, which also makes them easy to clean.

  1. Small Molds

    • The 3-inch-by-2.4-inch pop-over pan is a smooth 1-cup pan. The mini deep-fluted mold is 5.3 inches at the widest part of the ring and 2.4 inches deep with a volume of 2 cups. It is used to make bundt, baba and savarin cakes (yeast cake with rum-flavored syrup pastry cream and fresh fruit ) with swirled imprints.

    Medium Molds

    • The deep-fluted pan has a diameter of 8.5 inches, a depth of 4 inches and a volume of 10 cups. The swirl cake pan is a shallow pan, with a volume of only 5 cups, a diameter of 9 inches, and a depth of 2 inches. The medium cake pan has a diameter of 9.5 inches, depth of 2.3 inches and a volume of 10 cups. Besides cakes, it is used to bake fish patties and crinkle-cut fries.

    Large Molds

    • The shallow jelly ring pan is 1.9 inches deep and 9.5 inches wide. The large cake pan is 9.5 inches across and 3.3 inches deep, with a 10-cup volume. It is used with the medium cake pan to produce tiered cakes.
