Hey from Pizzazzerie!
Hi, eHow readers! Courtney Whitmore here! I’m tickled pink to be a new blogger for eHow Mom because yours truly will be entering the “Mom-world” in just a couple of short months (eeh!). I wanted to start off with a little introduction of who I am, my blog, my business, favorite cupcake flavor…you know…the basics!
Four years ago, I left my full-time job as a career counselor to start an entertaining blog called “Pizzazzerie” (nope, not about pizza, just pizzazz)! It has led me on a whirlwind trip that has included publishing three cookbooks (Push-Up Pops, Candy Making For Kids, and Frostings). I’ve styled food and entertaining shoots for Martha Stewart Weddings, HGTV, Better Homes & Gardens, and Access Hollywood Live.
The blog has grown into a full-time styling job for brand clients (Frito-Lay, Hershey, Blue Bunny Ice Cream, Michael’s, Target, and others). I style and shoot food and entertaining sets from my home in Nashville, TN where I live with my husband and springer spaniel, Henry.
What’s new on my horizon, however, is my role as a Mom! I’m thrilled, excited, nervous, and anxious all at the same time. #BabyPizzazzerie is due May 3rd and is a GIRL.
I’ll be writing weekly on my last trimester of pregnancy, nursery sneak peeks, and other milestones as I expect my first child this spring!
