November is here and if you’re anything like me, you are stuck in holiday decorating limbo. With Halloween behind us and Thanksgiving and Christmas not quite upon us, the few weeks in between still deserve a little festive love. Keeping in the holiday spirit with a few strategic pops of fall decor is just what we need to celebrate all season long.
Head outside. Put the kids to work or take a leisurely stroll collecting acorns, leaves and pine cones to fill decorative bowls and vases around the house. Not only is it 100 percent free to decorate with what nature sends our way, but it’s a lovely reminder of what is right outside our doorstep.
Ornaments aren’t just for Christmas. Inexpensive ornaments in orange, gold & brown are a great way to work a little sparkle and fall ambiance into any room.
Ditch the jack-o-lanterns. But hold on to those pumpkins from Halloween. Throw a few gourds in different shapes and sizes into the mix for a fun display for your front porch or dining table.
DIY no-sew table runners. These are a great option to add a dash of polish to your dining table decor. Just measure your fabric to size and use iron-on adhesive backing to give the edges a finished look.
