Today, I’m bringing you one of the simplest do-it-yourself projects I’ve stumbled across in a long time. Seriously. Not only can even the newest DIYer can tackle this one with ease and build their “I did it!” confidence along the way, but they’ll have a super cute soap dispenser to show for their not-so-hard work.
First let’s round up a few materials. Here’s what you’ll need:
1 Jelly/mason jar
1 Lotion/soap pump
Drill
Scissors
Start by drilling a small hole in the lid of the jar. Use a small drill bit to start your hole and widen with a larger bit if needed.
Once the hole it large enough to fit the straw of your pump, see if you need to shorten the straw. If so, just a simple snip of the scissors will take care of that hiccup.
If the pump feels a little wobbly, use a bit of glue to secure in place.
That’s it! See I told you this DIY was a breeze. Now there is no excuse for every bathroom in your house not to be decked out with a DIY soap dispenser. Go ahead. Impress your friends with those newfound DIY skills of yours.
