Aside from traditional Halloween colors, don’t be surprised if you see a lot of pink this month: October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This year, more than 250,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with some form of breast cancer. However this disease is not gender biased: more than 2,000 new cases are diagnosed in American men each year as well.
While the most common sign is a lump found in the breast or armpit area, symptoms of breast cancer may vary widely.
