3 Ways to Make the Super Bowl Fun for Everyone (Yes, Even Non-Fans)

Save

You know, the Super Bowl isn’t JUST about “the big game”–it’s about the little games, and the snacks too!

Super Bowl Bingo

Who should play: Everyone. You. Your mom. Your best friend. Your dog. That random guy who you always see at parties but don’t actually know and it’s awkward but you don’t talk about it ever.
How does it work? Wait, really? It’s BINGO. Standard Old-Macdonald-had-a-farm rules. If you see a beer commercial and you’ve got that space, mark it. Pete Carroll cheering? Mark it. The most glorious celebratory dance that has ever graced your eyeballs? Mark it, mark it, MARK IT. Whoever gets a straight line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) first, wins.
But idk what a “rushing TD” or a “personal foul” is: Me neither. Consult a friend. A nice, honest friend who will not lead you and your bingo card astray.

Mason Jar Football Brownie Treats

What? Football-shaped brownies atop a bed of buttercream grass in a portable and trendy mason jar.
Why? Did you not read the above line? Football-shaped brownies atop a bed of buttercream grass in a portable and trendy mason jar. WHY NOT.
Make these for: Everyone. You. Your mom. Your best friend. Your dog. (Don’t make these for your dog. Dogs are allergic to chocolate. Please just don’t.)
Make these instead of: Pizza, buffalo wings, chips and dip. Okay those snacks are delicious and maybe you should make them too but football-shaped brownies?! Challenge accepted.

Mini Football Toss for Kids

Hey, that title says “kid”: Yes, kids love to throw things.
But I’m not a kid… No you’re not. You’re a fully functional, successful grown human who happens to enjoy a good game of mini football toss. There’s no shame in that.
If I make this will I be hailed as a hero? Duh. You’ll be the one to thank for hours of heated competition at all future tailgates. As Spiderman’s Uncle Ben Voltaire once said, “With great power comes great responsibility.” You’ve been warned.

With special thanks to eHow Money Editor Mary Dacuma, without whom the bingo cards–and basically this entire post–would not be possible. I’m not so good at football.
