How to Dress Warm in the Cold for Golf

Golf, a game that is played outdoors, is perpetually at the mercy of the elements of nature and weather. Wind, rain, sunlight and excessive heat or cold are all parts of the game at different times. Learning to properly deal and prepare for these climate changes can be just as important as learning the fundamentals of the game itself. Particularly with protecting against the cold, there are some definite proper and improper wardrobe selections.

To truly be a golfer you must be willing to adopt the attitude of a postman: "Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow..." True golfers are willing to suffer the elements in order to further suffer the game's agonies.

If you are a regular at pro golf events, either as a spectator or a player, you need to know that there are certain rules as to what is acceptable in apparel and what isn't.
