Sydney, Australia is an upside down city for several reasons. It is on the other side of the planet from us. When it is summer here it is winter there and vise versa. Water runs down the drain in the opposite direction. Sydney is a modern city surrounding a stunning bay. It is clean, bright and full of friendly people. There is a highly efficient mass transit system and many tourist friendly accommodations. Visitors are treated to the Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach and bay cruises. If you can stand the 14 hour plane flight and can get away from at least 2 weeks, Sydney is well worth a visit.
