One home inspector's fees will not be the same as the next. The fee for a home inspection can be as low as $200 or as high as $1,000, depending on the size of the property and elements to be inspected.

Re-inspection of the property is not included in the home inspection price. Once an inspection is completed and the home seller makes the repairs that were negotiated, the inspector will have to be rehired to perform an inspection of the repairs, which will come with an additional fee.
