According to Good House Keeping, taking 10,000 steps a day, which converts to between 4.5 to 5 miles keeps you healthy and assists you in losing weight. These miles can be broken down into several parts. Good Housekeeping, recommends breaking it down into three 20 minutes walks and two 30 minutes walks.
