The XBox 360 Pro has exceptional video output, more than twice that of the Playstation 3 (PS3). The Pro also wins with twice as many millions of "triangles," the term used to define resolution in display graphics. The Xbox Pro is a system and computer-of-sorts in one, providing a fully fleshed out and maximized, exciting gaming experience that beats PS3's speed, power and versatility.

Playstation 3

The PS3 is no slouch. It has the same max resolution as the Xbox; meaning, while the Xbox can provide finer details, the PS3's overall resolution is also rich and textured. The PS3, however, wins with its video memory installed at a whopping 256 MB as opposed to the Xbox 360's measly 10 MB. The PS3 also stands out with its exceptional hardware design. The totally silent system doesn't freeze or break nearly as often as the Xbox. It also connects online for free.

Bottom Line

The Xbox 360 has a great online program and many more game titles than the PS3, but it has a high failure rate, costly expenses and poor customer service. If you want reliability, choose the PS3. However, if you want the best gameplay with the most titles, choose Xbox 360 Pro.
