The Day Before

Revolution does not work if a dog's coat is wet or clumped together. If a dog has a long or incredibly thick coat that may take more than two hours or even most of the day to dry, apply Revolution one day before the bath. According to the manufacturer, the dog will need only two hours to absorb the product before the dog can have a bath.

Bottom Line

The dog's coat needs to be dry before Revolution can be applied. The dog can be given a bath two hours after the Revolution is applied. Since this may not be convenient timing for the owner, giving the dog a bath the day before application is another alternative.
