I love the free sites: moonfruit.com and freewebs.com I'm actually creating my 4th website right now- hopefully it will have enough content to show the world sometime in the next 2-3 months- I am lacking content but I have a ton on there too- it is only a matter of time!

Moonfruit isn't free, but freewebs is. A quick glance at freewebs shows me it is much like the free web tools Tank, SiteKreator, Weebly, SynthaSite and Webnode that I've reviewed here already. I'll have to write something about freewebs next.

The free site offers "10 mb storage". I'm new to this, and would like to know: how restrictive would that be if you want a website with lots of photos?

10 MB would be a lot of text--encyclopedias worth. But images are larger. Are you talking about images that you've optimized for the web, or are you talking about images straight off your camera?
I'm buying memory for my computer, camera, and iPod by the gigabyte these days.
When I look at a directory on my computer that holds images straight off my camera, I'm storing 17 GB there. But in a directory that holds 120 images I've optimized for a web site, I'm only storing 6MB.
So my best answer is: it depends on what "a lot" means to you.

I'd be looking for higher resolution photos that would be printable, for a memorial site. I'll have to find another option, I guess. Thanks.
